Adding new devices to your smart home is always exciting, but let's make sure they're compatible with your hub!
While your hub may support Z-Wave devices, it may not always properly recognize a given device or give you access to all of the device's advanced settings or functionality. It is up to the hub platform to integrate Z-Wave devices to give you settings access and have them configure properly in the hub.
For example, alarm panels will typically only support single switches, door locks, select thermostats, and any authorized items on their list. You can read more about compatibility with alarm systems here.
If your particular hub system is not on the compatibility list for a Zooz device, we always recommend reaching out to your hub's support and request device integration. Requests coming from direct users will have a bigger impact and improve the likelihood that the device will be integrated.
