How Do I Perform Hard Reset on My ZEN30 Double Switch?

Hard reset can help with a variety of configuration issues. 

It's also a good idea to try reset if your Double Switch is unresponsive to manual or Z-Wave commands, especially if you already gave exclusion a try without any luck. To reset the Double Switch: 

  1. Press and hold the lower paddle on the dimmer for at least 15 seconds until the LED indicators start flashing, then release.
  2. Then immediately press and hold the upper paddle on the dimmer for at least 15 seconds. The LED indicators will flash again to confirm successful reset.


Just remember that hard reset will erase all custom settings and recorded activity, returning the device to factory defaults. 


Once you've reset the Double Switch, try including it to your Z-Wave hub again to see if that helps the issue. If you have further questions about the reset process or if you find that it didn't solve the problem, don't hesitate to reach out to our team!
