Reset can also help with a variety of configuration issues, especially if you already gave exclusion a try and found it didn't help.
Just tap-tap-tap’n’hold the upper paddle for at least 10 seconds to perform hard reset. The LED indicator should flash to confirm that reset was successful. Just remember that hard reset will erase all custom settings and recorded activity, returning the device to factory defaults.
Once you've reset the switch, try including it to your Z-Wave hub again to see if that solved the issue.
