For Z-Wave control of the ZEN12 Motion Dimmer you will need to include it to your network; a process also known as adding or pairing.
To auto-include your ZEN12 Dimmer:
-
Put your Z-Wave hub into inclusion/pairing mode (see your hub's manual for instructions since each brand is different). If you’re using an S2 hub, it may ask you to enter the DSK key printed on the back cover sticker to complete secure inclusion
-
Power on the ZEN12 Dimmer.
-
The LED indicator will blink green rapidly to signal communication and turn green for 2 seconds if inclusion is successful.
To manually include your ZEN56 Dimmer:
-
Put the Z-Wave hub into inclusion/pairing mode (see your hub's manual for instructions since each brand is different)
-
Click the main button 3 times as quickly as possible, and the LED's will start blinking blue to indicate communication.
-
The LED's will turn solid green for 2 seconds when inclusion is successful, or will turn red if inclusion fails.
-
The new device should appear on your hub's device list
If you've tried auto and manual inclusion but find the ZEN12 Dimmer is not including, please try to exclude the device, factory reset the unit, then try including again.
Please let us know if you have any questions about the process.
