Inclusion issue with your ZEN12 Motion Dimmer? Let's start simple: give the exclusion process a try!
It may seem counter-intuitive, but the easiest way to resolve inclusion or configuration issues is by excluding the device first! Exclusion can be done at any time, even if a device has never been included to the hub! Another way to think of exclusion is as a hub-based reset..
How to exclude the ZEN12 from your Z-Box Hub:
1. From the sidebar navigation menu of the Z-Box web interface, go to Settings by clicking on the gear icon. You will be redirected to the Devices menu. Click the red - Remove device button in the top right corner.

2. Select the Z-Wave Device option.

3. Get ready to activate your ZEN12 and click Start.

4. Click the main button 3 times; all the LED's will blink magenta. The LED's will turn solid green for 2 seconds when excluded successfully and the LED's will be solid red for 2 seconds if exclusion fails.

Once the Z-Box confirms a successful exclusion, please try including the device again.
Still having trouble?
- Try the exclusion process again. It's possible that the command didn't go through the first time.
- Run a factory reset on the device, then try including it.
