There is No LED Activity and My ZEN14 Outdoor Double Plug is Unresponsive

Your ZEN14 Outdoor Double Plug is plugged in to a grounded 110VAC receptacle, but there is no LED response from the device? Try the troubleshooting steps below:

To rule out any grounding or power issues, first try moving it to a different receptacle.

 

One feature of the ZEN14 allows you to switch between LED indicator modes by clicking the Z-Wave button 6 times quickly. Try clicking the Z-Wave button 6 times; this may activate the LED if it was inadvertently turned off.

 

If you have verified that the receptacle is powered and the LEDs are working, but find the device is unresponsive to manual and remote commands, try performing a hard reset on the Outdoor Double Plug. This type of reset will erase all previously recorded activity along with any custom settings you had in place. 

 

If you notice that the ZEN14 became unresponsive after you connected a device or appliance, we also recommend verifying that the connected device is compatible with the plug. Certain devices, like heavy duty equipment, motors over 1/3 HP, or devices over 15A resistive load combined between the two outlets will damage the ZEN14 Outdoor Smart Plug.
