Here is a full list of advanced settings (parameters) for the ZSE11 Q Sensor.

Some parameters were added in later firmware updates so please make sure you're on the latest firmware to have all of the settings below available. You can view the change log for the ZSE11 here.

The following parameters are applicable to the ZSE11 700 on FW 1.30, as well as the ZSE11 800

Motion Sensitivity

Parameter 12: Set motion sensitivity for the motion detector to minimize false alerts. Set value to 0 to disable motion reports.

Size: 1 byte dec

Motion Clear Delay

Parameter 13: The amount of time the device waits to send a motion clear notification after the last motion event is detected.

Values: 10 - 3600 (seconds). Default: 30.

Size: 2 byte dec

Disable Basic Set Reporting

Parameter 14: Enable or disable basic set reporting when motion is detected.

Size: 1 byte dec

Basic Set Reporting Values

Parameter 15: Select the basic set value to be sent when motion is detected.

Values: 0 – send 0xFF basic set report (ON) when motion is detected; 1 – send 0x00 basic set report (OFF) when motion is detected. Default: 0.

Size: 1 byte dec

Disable Binary Sensor Reporting

Parameter 16: Enable or disable binary sensor reports when motion is detected. (Note: this parameter is not applicable to the 800 series version of the ZSE11)

Values:0 -Disable Binary Sensor Reports for motion; 1 -Enable Binary Sensor for motion. Default: 1.

Size: 1 byte dec

Temperature Reporting Unit

Parameter 18: Set the temperature unit for your sensor. NOTE: many home automation platforms will automatically adjust the reporting unit for you based on your general platform or device settings which will override this parameter so please make sure you check these settings as well.

Values: 1 – Celsius; 2 – Fahrenheit. Default: 2.

Size: 1 byte dec

LED Indicator

Parameter 19: Decide if you want the LED indicator to blink when motion is detected.

Values: 0 – LED doesn't blink when motion detected; 1 – LED blinks when motion detected. Default: 1.

Size: 1 byte dec

Disable Vibration Reports

Parameter 20: Disable vibration reports for the sensor.  When enabled, the clear report is sent after 5 seconds since the last vibration event.
(Note: this parameter is available on the ZSE11 800LR version only)

Values: 0 -Disable Vibration Reports; 1 -Enable Vibration Reports. Default: 1.

Size: 1 byte dec

Lux Check-in Frequency

Parameter 21: Set how often you want the device to check lux level for changes (this is not a reporting frequency setting). Set value to 0 to disable lux reports from this device to the hub. A report will be sent ONLY if the value has changed by the threshold value set in Parameter 185 as compared to the most recent report.
(Note: this parameter is available on the ZSE11 800LR version only)

Values: 0 – Lux readings disabled (lux sensor will not display in the UI); 1 – 43200 seconds. Default: 10.

Size: 2 byte dec

Temperature Check-in Frequency

Parameter 22: Set how often you want the device to check ambient temperature for changes (this is not a reporting frequency setting). Set value to 0 to disable temperature reports from this device to the hub. A report will be sent ONLY if the value has changed by the threshold value set in Parameter 183 as compared to the most recent report.
(Note: this parameter is available on the ZSE11 800LR version only)

Values: 0 – 43200 seconds. Default: 60.

Size: 2 byte dec

Humidity Check-in Frequency

Parameter 23: Set how often you want the device to check ambient humidity for changes (this is not a reporting frequency setting). Set value to 0 to disable humidity reports from this device to the hub. A report will be sent ONLY if the value has changed by the threshold value set in Parameter 184 as compared to the most recent report. (Note: this parameter is available on the ZSE11 800LR version only)

Values: 0 – 43200 seconds. Default: 60.

Size: 2 byte dec

Low Battery Report

Parameter 32: Which % level should the device report low battery to the hub.

Values: 10 - 50 (%). Default: 10.

Size: 1 byte dec

Reporting Frequency

Parameter 172: Set the reporting frequency for battery, temperature, humidity, and light level. This setting is ignored unless the reporting threshold parameters are set to 0. The sensor only reports new readings based on threshold OR frequency, prioritizing the threshold setting. The values entered correspond to the number of hours. Frequent reports will affect battery life.
(Note: this parameter is not applicable to the 800 series version of the ZSE11)

Values: 1 - 744 (hours). Default: 4.

Size: 2 byte dec

Temperature Reporting Frequency

Parameter 173: Set the reporting interval for temperature. Values 1-43200 will send a report regardless of the reporting threshold setting in parameter 183. This means that the set value will force a report even the ambient temperature has not changed. Set value to 0 to report based on threshold changes only.
(Note: this parameter is available on the ZSE11 800LR version only)

Values: 0 – Reports based on threshold only (value set in parameter 183. 1 - 43200 seconds. Default: 0.

Size: 2 byte dec

Humidity Reporting Frequency

Parameter 174: Set the reporting interval for humidity. Values 1-43200 will send a report regardless of the reporting threshold setting in parameter 184. This means that the set value will force a report even the ambient humidity has not changed. Set value to 0 to report based on threshold changes only.
(Note: this parameter is available on the ZSE11 800LR version only)

Values: 0 – Reports based on threshold only (value set in parameter 184. 1 - 43200 seconds. Default: 0.

Size: 2 byte dec

Lux Reporting Frequency

Parameter 175: Set the reporting interval for lux. Values 1-43200 will send a report regardless of the reporting threshold setting in parameter 185. This means that the set value will force a report even the lux level has not changed. Set value to 0 to report based on threshold changes only.
(Note: this parameter is available on the ZSE11 800LR version only)

Values: 0 – Reports based on threshold only (value set in parameter 183. 1 - 43200 seconds. Default: 0.

Size: 2 byte dec

Temperature Reporting Threshold

Parameter 183: Set the threshold for temperature reporting in F degree changes. Set value to 0 to ignore changes and report based on frequency.

Values: 0 – Temperature reporting based on changes disabled; 1-144 degrees Frahrenheit. Default: 1.

Size: 2 byte dec

Humidity Reporting Threshold

Parameter 184: Set the threshold for Humidity reporting in % changes. Set value to 0 to ignore changes and report based on frequency.

Values: 0 – Humidity reporting based on changes disabled; 1-80 %. Default: 5.

Size: 1 byte dec

Lux Reporting Threshold

Parameter 185: Set the threshold for lux reporting. Set value to 0 to to ignore changes and report based on frequency.

Values: 0 – Lux reporting based on changes disabled; 2-30000 lux. Default: 50.

Size: 2 byte dec

Temperature Offset

Parameter 201: Set the temperature reporting offset. Value 100 means no offset, values 0-99 decrease the value (ex: 56 means deduct 4.4 degrees from the measured value), values 101-200 increase the value (ex: value 121 means add 2.1 degree to the reported value). Device must be factory reset to restore this value to default.
(Note: this parameter is available on the ZSE11 800LR version only)

Values: 0 – 200. Default: 100 (no offset).

Size: 1 byte dec

Humidity Offset

Parameter 202: Set the humidity reporting offset. Value 100 means no offset, values 0-99 decrease the value (ex: 56 means deduct 4.4 % from the measured value), values 101-200 increase the value (ex: value 121 means add 2.1 % to the reported value). Device must be factory reset to restore this value to default.
(Note: this parameter is available on the ZSE11 800LR version only)

Values: 0 – 200. Default: 100 (no offset).

Size: 1 byte dec
