Exclusion is the first thing to try. It doesn't just remove devices from your network - it also acts as a reset!
Begin by trying to include the dimmer once more, adding it as a Generic Z-Wave device. Once inclusion times out, try the steps below:
1. Tap the green Retry button in the bottom right corner of the app - this will put Vera into exclusion mode.
2. Tap the LOWER paddle 3 times quickly
3. The switch should disappear from your device list once exclusion goes through
