Having issues with including your ZEN51 Dry Contact Relay? Begin by excluding the device. This process acts as a soft reset to help with any configuration or inclusion issues.
Here are the steps for excluding the ZEN51:
- Tap the green Retry button in the bottom right corner of the app - this will put Vera into exclusion mode.
- Exclude the ZEN51 by pressing the Z-Wave button 3 times as quickly as possible. Alternatively, if the relay is already installed, you can simply toggle the external switch connected to ZEN51 very quickly from off to on, so: "up-down, up-down, up-down."
- The LED indicator should start flashing. A message at the top of the screen in Vera will confirm the device was successfully excluded.
- Retry the inclusion process once again - Vera will automatically go back to the inclusion screen once exclusion is finalized.
