How Do I Perform Hard Reset on My ZEN73 700 Series Toggle Switch?

Trouble with your ZEN73? Resolve any configuration and communication issues with a hard reset. 

If your toggle switch is not responsive to Z-Wave commands, it may be time to reset it. We recommend trying exclusion first. If that doesn't work, try these steps: 

 

  • Hold the toggle DOWN for 10 seconds until the LED indicator starts blinking.
  • Release the toggle, and immediately after, toggle the switch DOWN 5 times to complete the reset
  • The LED indicator will flash blue 3 times and turn red for 3 seconds to confirm successful reset.

 

The hard reset will erase all custom settings and recorded activity, returning the device to factory defaults. 

 

Once you've reset the switch, try adding it back to your Z-Wave hub.
