How to Change the Advanced Settings for My ZSE42 Water Leak XS Sensor in Vera

Change the settings of your ZSE42 to fit your installation needs!

You can adjust the settings for your Water Leak Sensor - like the LED indicator color or low battery alerts.

Here are the steps to change parameters (or settings) in your Vera interface; below is how to set the low battery alert value as an example. Make sure to change the correct values for Variable (corresponding the Parameter you'd like to change), Data Size, and Desired Value.

Open your Vera online interface (the browser dashboard, not the app)
Click on the Zooz ZSE42 sensor
Go to Device Options
Click on Add configuration settings
Put in the following (to set the low battery alert)
- Variable = 4
- Data Size = 1 byte dec
- Desired Value = 10 (% battery life)
Click on Save Changes

Remember to wake your sensor up by clicking the Z-Wave button 4 times quickly so it can receive the new settings right away.
