Which LED Bulbs are Tested Compatible with Zooz Ver 2.0 Dimmer Switches?

Not all LED bulbs will work seamlessly with all Z-Wave switches.

While it's normal to get a flickering effect at low brightness levels (0-10%), sometimes you'll connect an LED bulb and find that it flickers at all dimming levels. This is usually due to a driver incompatibility - Zooz VER. 2.0 dimmers are based on TRIAC, which is a leading edge driver. If an LED bulb uses a trailing edge driver, this may lead to flickering.

Here's a list of some of the popular brands of bulbs that are compatible with Zooz VER. 2.0 dimmers (ZEN22 and ZEN24):

  • AMAZON BASIC (10-100% dimming)
  • BROADA (10-100% dimming)
  • CMYK EDISON STYLE (0-100% dimming)
  • CREE (10-100% dimming)
  • Ecosmart (10-100% dimming)
  • GE (10-100% dimming)
  • GE Reveal (10-100% dimming)
  • Halo (10-100% dimming)
  • HYPERIKON (10-100% dimming)
  • Philips HUE (10-100% dimming)
  • SUNCO (10-100% dimming)
  • Sylvania (10-100% dimming)
  • TCP (0-100% dimming)
  • Utilitech (0-100% dimming)
  • Utilitech recessed (10-100% dimming)

Here is a list of bulbs we came across that didn't work well with Zooz Ver 2.0 dimmers:

  • Feit Electric
  • Lithonia
  • Luminus

If you have any of the above brands and experienced flickering, ask us about the new dimmers we're releasing which will be compatible with a wider range of LED bulbs.
