How Do I Perform Hard Reset on My ZEN74 700 Series Toggle Dimmer?

Hard reset can help resolve any configuration or communication issues your ZEN74 Dimmer may be experiencing. 

You could try excluding the device first, which will act as a soft reset. If your dimmer is not responsive to Z-Wave commands, then it's time to hard reset the device:

 

  • Hold the toggle DOWN for 10 seconds until the LED indicator starts blinking.
  • Release the toggle, and immediately after, toggle the switch DOWN 5 times to complete the reset
  • The LED indicator will flash blue 3 times and turn red for 3 seconds to confirm successful reset.

 

A hard reset will erase all custom settings and recorded activity, returning the device to factory defaults. 

 

Once you've reset the dimmer, try including it to your Z-Wave hub again to see if that resolved the issue.
