No need to wire this switch! Get easy smart bulb control from the wireless, re-chargeable ZEN37 Wall Remote. It fits in any standard electrical box or can be fixed to a wall or any flat surface for easy installation. Program the buttons on this device according to the standard scene control / central scene event instructions provided below and control your smart bulbs with a single / held / or multi-tap trigger. Here is a quick guide on how to program the device to get the most out of your smart lighting experience; if you'd like to learn more about using this and other Zooz switches with smart bulbs, read this overview article first.

INSTALL THE CUSTOM DRIVER AND INCLUDE THE ZEN37

First, we recommend installing the custom driver for the ZEN37 to ensure access to all available advanced settings.

Next, include the ZEN37 Wall Remote to Hubitat to access all of the control options in the Hubitat UI.

LINK THE REMOTE SWITCH TO YOUR SMART BULBS

Programming the remove via scene control will allow you to use the triggers from any of the 4 buttons on your Wall Remote to be assigned a different action. Check out the instructions linked below for details on programming scene control for the ZEN37 via Hubitat:

Here is how to program your ZEN37 Wall Remote on Hubitat.

Here are just a few examples on how you can use the device to activate your favorite settings instantly:

  • If button 1 is pressed once, toggle the state of my smart bulbs (turn them on if they're off or turn them off if they're on).
  • If button 3 is double tapped, set my smart bulbs to bed time scene (lights dimmed, set to warm yellow).
  • If button 4 is tapped once, set my smart bulbs to focus mode (full brightness, cool white).

Each button can be programmed for single tap, double tap, held, released. At the moment, you'll only be able to use the button controller features of the device since direct association is not available on Hubitat yet. The platform only supports a single or double press, held, and released triggers for buttons so the documented 3, 4, or 5-taps won't be exposed in Hubitat.

Please remember to manually wake your ZEN37 Wall Remote so the new changes are received; just click the lower left button 6 times as quickly as possible to wake the device up.

If you have any questions about using your ZEN37 Wall Remote with smart bulbs on Hubitat, just ask!
