Here is a list of updates we made to the ZEN35 Scene Dimmer so far:

VER. 1.0 (released 03/2025)

Original release

Firmware: 1.00

• A central scene triggers up to 35 scenes or devices

• Direct association available from each button

• Controllable LED indicator for each button

Firmware: 1.10 (released 06/2025 as OTA)

• Added new parameters: 42 – Scene Control Multi-Tap, 43 – Gamma Factor. You can view all available settings here.

Firmware: 1.20 (released 08/2025 as OTA)

• Optimized Z-Wave reporting behavior: when Basic Set, Binary Set, and Multilevel set commands are sent from the Z-Wave controller (Lifeline), the device will no longer send redundant reports or notification commands back to the controller.

Firmware: 1.30 (released 11/2025 as OTA)

• Updated SDK from 7.19.3 to 7.24.1 to address issues with the scene controller occasionally showing offline or becoming unresponsive on select platforms

Firmware: 1.40 (released 05/2026 as OTA)

• Fixed an issue introduced in firmware 1.30 (new SDK) where Parameter 32 (3-way switch type) did not function correctly with mechanical and momentary switches in 3-way and 4-way installations after a power cycle or factory reset of the ZEN35.
• Fixed an issue in firmware 1.30 where the device did not correctly respect the value set in Parameter 18 (On/Off Status After Power Failure).
• Updated LED brightness settings for Parameters 11–15, changing the supported value range from 0–2 to 1–10. See all available settings here.
