Add the ZEN35 Scene Dimmer to the Z-Box Hub and program the unit quickly and easily. Here is how to get started.

We encourage you to add Z-Wave devices to your hub from the WEB UI for the best experience but if you'd rather use the mobile app, we've included instructions for the process below as well.

ADD THE ZEN35 SCENE DIMMER FROM THE WEB UI:

1. Open your Z-Box web interface in the Internet browser and select Settings (the gear icon) from the sidebar navigation menu.

2. The screen will display all of your existing devices > click on the + Add device blue button in the top right corner.

3. Select Z-Wave Device in the next screen.

4. Make sure you can physically access your ZEN35 Scene Dimmer and click Start on the screen.

5. While the hub is in inclusion mode, tap the main button on the ZEN35 Scene Dimmer 3 times as quickly as possible. The LED indicators will start blinking. It may take a few minutes for the device to add and configure so please wait patiently and don't exit the screen.

6. Once the device is found, you'll be able to rename it and assign it to its room. The ZEN35 Scene Dimmer will create one device for the operation of the main button switch and one remote control device for all of the buttons to program scene control. Buttons 1-4 are the 4 small remote control buttons on the device and button 5 is the main dimmer that can also be used for multi-tap triggers, whether it's physically connected to a load or not.

Click Next and then Finish once you rename and organize all of the newly created devices.

ADD THE ZEN35 SCENE DIMMER FROM THE Z-BOX MOBILE APP:

1. Open the Z-Box Hub app on your mobile device. > click More in the bottom navigation menu > click on + Add Devices

.

2. Select the Z-Wave Protocol > make sure you can physically access your ZEN35 Scene Dimmer and click Start on the screen.

6. While the hub is in inclusion mode, tap the main button on the ZEN35 Scene Dimmer 3 times as quickly as possible. The LED indicators will start blinking. It may take a few minutes for the device to add and configure so please wait patiently and don't exit the screen.

7. Once the device is found, you'll be able to rename it and assign it to its room. The ZEN35 Scene Dimmer will create one device for the on/off operation of the main button switch and one remote control device for all of the buttons to program scene control from the WEB UI. Buttons 1-4 are the 4 small remote control buttons on the device and button 5 is the main dimmer that can also be used for multi-tap triggers, whether it's physically connected to a load or not. Click Next and then Finish once you rename and organize all of the newly created devices.

We've included some screenshots below of how the ZEN35 should display for you in the Z-Box web UI.

TROUBLESHOOTING:

If your device is not found on the Z-Box Hub, you may need to reset it first. We recommend performing the reset using your hub and the exclusion option:

1. Open your Z-Box web interface in the Internet browser and select Settings (the gear icon) from the sidebar navigation menu. A list of your existing devices will appear.

2. Click the red - Remove device button in the top right corner.

3. Select Z-Wave Device in the next screen.

4. Make sure you can physically access your ZEN35 Scene Dimmer and click Start on the screen.

5. Tap the main button on the ZEN35 Scene Dimmer 3 times as quickly as possible. The LED indicators will start blinking and the Z-Box Hub will display a "Device removed" message.

If the LED indicators on the switch aren't blinking, make sure that the device turns on the light from the main switch to check if it's operational at all. If it works well physically from the switch button, try a factory reset and then follow the inclusion steps above.
