Inclusion issues? You may need to exclude the ZAC38 first.

A device doesn't need to be included first to be excluded - and it'll help resolve any configuration or connectivity issues.

Here's how to do it: 

1. In Home Assistant: open Settings > Devices and Services > Z-Wave JS > Configure
2. Click on Remove Device
3. Click on Start Exclusion
4. Press the Z-Wave button 3 times very quickly to finalize the exclusion process
5. The device will now be removed

After exclusion is confirmed, try adding the ZAC38 to Home Assistant again. 

If that didn't work, here are some troubleshoots we find helpful: 

• Exclude the device once more in case the commands from the first run weren't registered correctly. 
• Try including the device by pressing the Z-Wave button 4-5 times instead of 3.
• Try bringing Range Extender closer to the hub to see if it connects in a closer location. If it connects without issue in the new spot, then the first location may be out of range or there may be too many interferences in that area.
