Also known as adding or pairing, inclusion is the process of incorporating a device into your Z-Wave system. 

If your ZEN14 is working well manually, then it's time to follow the steps below to include the plug to your Z-Wave hub.

 Here are the steps to add the device to your system: 

1. Plug the Outdoor Double Plug into the grounded 120VAC receptacle you plan to use it with
2. Put your Z-Wave hub into inclusion mode (see your controller's device manual, as each brand is different)
3. Press and release the Z-Wave button 3 TIMES QUICKLY
4. The LED indicator will start flashing blue to confirm inclusion mode and turn green for 1 second once inclusion is completed.

Once the hub confirms inclusion, you can create rules for it, control it remotely, and customize it via the advanced settings 

If your ZEN14 is having trouble connecting to your Z-Wave network, the first thing to try is exclusion, which is a type of Z-Wave reset.
