Here is a full list of advanced settings (parameters) for the ZSE18 Motion Sensor.
Motion Sensitivity
Parameter 12: Set motion sensitivity for the motion detector to minimize false alerts.
Values: 0 – disable motion reports; 1 – 8, where 8 is the most sensitive and 1 is the least sensitive. Default: 4.
Size: 1 byte dec
Tamper Sensitivity
Parameter 13: Tamper Sensitivity (only available in ZSE18 800LR)
Values: 1 – 4, where 4 is the most sensitive and 1 is the least sensitive. Default: 3
Size: 1 byte dec
Basic Set Reporting
Parameter 14: Enable or disable basic set reporting when motion is detected.
Values: 0 – don’t send basic set reports when motion is detected (default); 1 – send basic set reports when motion is detected.
Size: 1 byte dec
Parameter 16: Enable or disable basic set reporting when motion is cleared.
Values: 0 – don’t send basic set reports when motion is cleared (default); 1 – send basic set reports when motion is cleared.
Size: 1 byte dec
Basic Set Value
Parameter 15: Select the basic set value to be sent when motion is detected.
Values: 0 – send 0xFF basic set report (ON) when motion is detected (default); 1 – send 0x00 basic set report (OFF) when motion is detected.
Size: 1 byte dec
Vibration Sensor
Parameter 17: Enable or disable the vibration sensor.
Values: 0 – vibration sensor disabled; 1 – vibration sensor enabled (default).
Size: 1 byte dec
Motion Clear Time
Parameter 18: Set motion clear time for the delay before the sensor reports no motion to the hub and associated devices after detecting the last motion activity.
Values: 10 - 65535, where 10 stands for 13 seconds and 65535 stands for 65538 seconds (add 3 seconds to each value number). Default: 30 seconds (value 27).
Values for ZSE18 800LR: 10 - 65535, where 10 stands for 10 seconds, 20 stands for 20 seconds, 30 stands for 30 seconds, etc. Default: 30 seconds (value 30)
Size: 2 byte dec
NOTE: Short clear time will increase activity and decrease battery life.
Enable/Disable Binary Sensor Reports
Parameter 19: Enable or disable binary sensor reports when motion is detected.
Values: 0 – don’t send binary sensor reports when motion is detected, send notification reports instead (default); 1 – send binary sensor reports when motion is detected instead of the notification report.
Size: 1 byte dec
LED Indicator Behavior
Parameter 20: Enable or disable LED indicator for motion alerts.
Values: 0 – don’t flash LED when motion is detected; 1 – flash LED indicator when motion is detected (default).
Size: 1 byte dec
TIP: Click the Z-Wave button 6 times quickly to change the LED indicator mode manually.
Low Battery Alert
Parameter 32: Set the % level for the sensor to report low battery to your hub.
Values: 10 - 50 (%). Default: 10.
Size: 1 byte dec
Lock Setting
Parameter 254: Use it to lock the current advanced settings and prevent any parameter values from being changed until unlocked again.
Values: 0 - settings unlocked (default), 1 - settings locked.
Size: 1 byte dec
