How to Access Advanced Settings for My ZSE18 Motion Sensor on the Z-Box

No drivers, no custom handlers; accessing the full advanced settings has never been easier than on the Z-Box. The ZSE18 Motion Sensor will be recognized and configured correctly by the Z-Box. Customizing the advanced settings is simple; just follow the steps below to start programming your ZSE18 on the Z-Box Hub.

 

You'll first want to ensure you are logged in locally to your Z-Box hub and connected to the same Wi-Fi network on your device / computer as the Z-Box Hub to access and configure any advanced settings.The ability to adjust advanced settings for Z-Wave devices is available only in the WEB UI at this time.

 

1. Click on Settings (gear icon) in the sidebar navigation menu on your Z-Box web interface.

2. A new screen showing all of your devices will appear.

3. Click the arrow on the right side of the ZSE18 Sensor. Always use the main device (and not the child devices) to modify settings.

4. Click on the Parameters tab in the settings view.

5. You'll see the settings for the device listed - simply click the arrow next to the setting you want to modify to make any changes. 

6. Click Save.

7. Always manually wake battery powered devices after making parameter changes so that the sensor can wake up to receive the updates.
