How to Access Advanced Settings for My ZSE44 Temperature | Humidity XS Sensor on Hubitat

While most settings will display for the sensor with the built-in integration, we recommend using the custom driver for the ZSE44 model for best experience.

Here is how to install and assign the custom driver for the Temperature | Humidity XS Sensor on Hubitat:

  1. Open Hubitat in your browser.
  2. Click on Drivers Code in the side menu.
  3. In the top right corner, click on "+New Driver" and paste the code from this link to access the code for the driver, then copy ALL of the code from the page.
  4. Click Save in the top right corner.
  5. You'll see a Zooz ZSE44 Temperature Humidity XS Sensor in your Drivers Code list now.
  6. Assign the driver to the device by opening to the device view and selecting the Zooz ZSE44 Temperature Humidity XS Sensor from the drop-down menu under Type (scroll all the way down to User Drivers, do NOT use the System driver under the same name). 
  7. Click Update Device
  8. IMPORTANT: Click the CONFIGURE button in the interface for all of the settings to appear and wake the device up by clicking the Z-Wave button 4 times quickly so it can fully configure. You may need to refresh the Hubitat page in your Internet browser as well.
  9. You will now see the additional setting display in the device view in Hubitat where you can customize the sensor.
  10. Once done, click Update Device again.
