How to Change the Advanced Settings for Your ZEN17 Universal Relay in Vera

Customize the settings of your ZEN17 any way you like!

You can adjust the settings for each individual relay including input type, built-in auto on/off timers, LED indicator behavior and more.

 

Here are the steps to change parameters (or settings) in your Vera interface; below is how to set the auto-off timer to 2 seconds for Relay 1 as an example. Make sure to change the correct values for Variable (corresponding the Parameter you'd like to change), Data Size, and Desired Value.

 

  1. Open your Vera online interface (the browser dashboard, not the app)
  2. Click on the Zooz Unviersal Relay ZEN17 parent device (do NOT choose the child relay devices here)
  3. Go to Device Options
  4. Click on Add configuration settings
  5. Put in the following:

To set the unit of the auto-off timer for R1 (minutes, seconds, hours)

  • Variable = 15
  • Data Size = 1 byte dec
  • Desired Value = 1
  • Click on Save Changes

 

To set the duration of the auto-off timer unit for R1 to 2 seconds

  • Variable = 6
  • Data Size = 4 byte dec
  • Desired Value = 2 
  • Click on Save Changes
