Once you've wired up your Double Switch and confirmed that it works 100% from both the dimmer and relay, it's time to add it to your Home Assistant network:
- In Home Assistant: open Configuration > Integrations > Z-Wave JS > Configure.
- Click on Add node.
- Click on Start Inclusion to initiate pairing.
- Tap the UPPER paddle on the dimmer 3 times as quickly as possible (LED indicator will start flashing)
- Home Assistant will confirm that the switch was added, and it will be immediately visible in your device list.
Once the Double Switch has been added to your hub, you'll be able to create rules for it, control it remotely, and customize it via the advanced settings.
Zooz products are now officially integrated with the new ZWaveJS integration of Home Assistant. If you're experiencing issues with accessing the advanced settings of your ZEN30 we would recommend first updating to the JS integration then excluding and re-including your device to your network in order for it to be recognized correctly.
If you are having issues adding the Double Switch to your network, the first thing to try is exclusion which is a type of soft Z-Wave reset.
