The ZSE18 Motion Sensor is a simple and effective way to monitor movement around your home with the Telus SmartHome+ system. Whether you’re keeping an eye on hallways, entryways, or any other area, the sensor helps you stay aware of motion activity without unnecessary alerts.

Although the Telus SmartHome+ Hub doesn’t offer access to the advanced Z-Wave configuration features available on other platforms, you can still adjust how the ZSE18 communicates motion events. Using the SmartHome+ app, you can customize notification preferences to receive updates only when motion is detected—so you’re always informed about what matters most.

These notifications can be managed after setting up the device or in the device settings page. To manage device notifications follow these steps:

• In the app, navigate to the device page

• Tap the three dots in the top-right hand corner

• Select Device settings

• Toggle device notifications as desired

• Tap save to confirm your changes
