Firmware – Version 1.10

  • LED Indicator Command Class

  • S2 Authenticated Security

  • Z-Wave Long Range ready (supports direct, no-mesh communication)

  1. Hardware - Version 1 REVISED (8/2025)
    • Sound file update only.
    • No change to hardware or firmware.

    • Batch 0725 - corrupted file "BL-0003_Window-open_8.0k_mono": file is mixed with many alerts.

    • Batch 0825 - fixed the file "BL-0003_Window-open_8.0k_mono"

    • What this means for users: Functionality, hardware, and firmware remain the same across all batches.

    • How to check your batch number: The four-digit batch code is printed on both the product box and the device label. Example: 0725 = July 2025 production, 0825 = August 2025 production.

    • If you have batch 0725, you can simply replace the corrupted file with the correct file listed here.

Firmware – Version 1.20 (released 10/2025 as OTA)

  • Improved Tone File Management: Resolved the tone file ordering issue by introducing fixed, addressable locations for each tone. Adding or removing sound files will no longer alter the sequence of existing tones. This update ensures that scenes remain consistent and unchanged when new files are loaded.

Firmware – Version 1.30 (released 04/2026 as OTA)

  • Fixed an issue with Parameter 1, Value 4: When Playback Mode was set to Value 4 (No sound, LED indicator only), the siren speaker produced an unintended background feedback/humming noise.
  • Fixed an issue with Parameter 14 not being applied during hub or scene control: Previously, the LED brightness settings in Parameter 14 were only respected when the siren was activated manually using the button. When triggered via hub or scene control, the siren LED would default to maximum brightness, and the LED could not be turned off. Parameter 14 now correctly controls both the alarm LED brightness and the device status indicator brightness in all activation methods.
  • Fixed an incorrect voice prompt: Corrected the voice prompt played during network setup failure.
  • Updated SDK from 7.18.8 to 7.24.1
  • Added Long Range support for Europe
