Here is how to include the new 800 series ZEN74 Toggle Dimmer to your Hubitat.

Smart Start Inclusion

On the Hubitat app:

  1. Open the Tools tab (wrench icon on the bottom)
  2. Scroll to the bottom, select Z-Wave
  3. This will take you to a screen where you can select either Smart Start or regular inclusion
  4. Select Smart Start
  5. This will take you to the smart start inclusion list. Devices will be displayed there that are in the process of inclusion through Smart Start.
  6. Select the QR symbol in the top right to open the camera for the DSK scan
  7. Power the device (important to do this AFTER QR scan)
  8. The device integration will begin. The window will appear asking you to name the device; click Save after naming
  9. Finishing inclusion may take a few minutes

If you have any issues with Smart Start Inclusion on Hubitat, please review this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sf-Fldjb0to. The steps should be the same whether you have a C-7 or C-8.

Manual Inclusion

  1. Open Hubitat in your Internet browser

  2. Go to Devices

  3. Click on Discover Devices in the top right corner

  4. Click on Z-Wave

  5. Click on Start Z-Wave Inclusion

  6. While the app says is in inclusion mode, toggle the dimmer up 3 times as quickly as possible

    • The LED indicator will blink blue to show signal communication, turn green for 3 seconds once inclusion is successful, or red for 3 seconds if inclusion fails.

    • If you're using the new C7 hub, it may ask you to enter the unique 5-digit DSK code: look for it in the lower left corner on the front metal plate of the switch.

    • On C7, if choosing the security level, you can either leave it at the S2 Authenticate level or uncheck all security boxes (this device supports S2 Authenticated or non-secure inclusion only).

  7. Rename and confirm the found device
