To reset your Outdoor Motion Sensor to factory settings, start by opening the battery cover to expose the battery compartment and tamper switch. Then CLICK-CLICK-CLICK-CLICK’N’HOLD the tamper switch for AT LEAST 5 SECONDS. The LED indicator will turn off to indicate successful reset.The sensor will then enter auto-inclusion mode for 4 minutes.
Hard reset will erase all custom settings and recorded activity so that your device is restored to factory settings.
After resetting the sensor, try including it again to your Z-Wave network to see if that helped the issue.
