Once your dimmer is wired up and working well manually, you can tackle the Z-Wave part of the installation:

To include the Dimmer Switch, go to your Vera app interface:

1. Select the Devices tab. Then click on the gray "+ Add Device" button
2. Choose Generic Z-Wave Device from the device list
3. Tap the UPPER paddle 3 times quickly
4. A new Z-Wave dimmer will appear on your device list

If you're unable to connect the switch successfully, try excluding it from the network. Exclusion is a kind of reset that can help with most configuration issues. If you have any questions about the above, don't hesitate to reach out.
