Before including the switch to your network, confirm that it works manually without issue.

After you determine the switch works locally (just tap it on/off to verify), it's time to include the unit to your Z-Wave network! By "including" the switch, we mean adding or connecting it. Here's how to include your On/Off Switch to your Z-Wave system:

1. Put your Z-Wave controller into inclusion mode
2. Tap the upper paddle of the switch 3 times very quickly to finalize the inclusion process
3. A new on/off device will appear on your controller's device list
